This book is seriously the best so far out of the Men Of Inked series. They just keep getting better and better. You have action, hot hot sex, an even hotter alpha male and many surprises along the way. James throws a wrench in Izzy's plans to never be tied to any man, Izzy does not like it one bit and resists at every possible moment. Who will win this tug of war of love?

When I read Throttled I'll admit I was wondering how James and Izzy would meet again and seriously didn't expect anything that happened to happen. I loved the addition of meeting Thomas in this book and it's actually perfect since his book is next in the series.

I don't want to give away anything about the book so all I'll say is James and Izzy heat up the pages in this book so you better watch out you don't get burned while reading. Chelle is an excellent author and Men Of Inked is by far one of my all time favorite series.

This book right here is the reason Chelle is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. She is continuously improving her writing, stories and character development. Michael Gallo and Mia Greco are one hot couple together, they have immediate chemistry, get along great out of bed and are pretty funny. Michael is a big softy even though in his chosen line of work as a professional MMA fighter you wouldn't think so. Mia is an emergency room doctor that is entirely self-sufficient and successful but is missing some tenderness and love in her life. They complement each other perfectly and Michael sweeps Mia off her feet. Can they hold on tight to each other through a heartbreaking accident and a crazy woman trying to destroy what they’ve found together? I can’t express to you how much I love the Men of Inked series and I can’t wait to read more of the Gallo family.

♥Hook Me - Excerpt♥

The latch snapped. I could do this. The nearness of him dulled my fear.

His fingers brushed against my mound, sending an electric current through my body, as he grabbed the latched. “Safe and secure,” he said, pulling on the latch with a chuckle.

I opened my eyes and looked down at him. “I wouldn’t use either of those words right now,” I said as I smacked his shoulder.

I wasn’t talking about parasailing either.

“Come on, beautiful. There’s no turning back now. Up ya go,” he said, grabbing my legs and throwing me my over his shoulder.

“Pig.” I reached down and tried pinched his ass.

I yelped, the sting from palm making me wish I could reach back and rub the tender spot. “Ugh,” I said as I bounced and grew slack in his arms, finally defeated.

The beach disappeared as he stepped on the boat. “Will you put me down now, please?” I asked, trying to sound sweet as sugar.

“If I must,” he said before placing a light kiss against my hip.

I closed my eyes and tried not to think about it, about him. The feel of his mouth against skin that hadn’t been touched in so long had me at my breaking point.

He wrapped his arms around my legs, pushing the harness into me, before pulling my body down against him. He controlled the speed, making the journey to my feet as drawn out as possible.

By the time my feet touched the boat I forgot how scared I had been. The sexual frustration I felt trumped everything. “You’re not safe,” I whispered as I looked up at him with one eye, the sun behind his head almost blinding me.

He laughed, pulling me against his shaking body. “Doc, I’ll make sure you survive the trip up there.” He bent down rubbing his nose against mine.

“Do you swear?” I asked as she set the glass back on the bar.

“What?” She gaped at me.

“Do you swear? Simple question. You’ve said ‘heck’ and ‘friggin’’ so far, but nothing dirty.”

“Oh, um, yeah, I swear.” Her cheeks turned pink and a small smile spread across her face. “I’m just used to watching my words with the kids around all day.”

“Prove it,” I said as I stared in her blue sapphire eyes.

“What? Why?”

“Cause I need to know if it’s in you. Are you all good girl or is there more under there dying to come out?” I hid the smile and laughter that was so close to breaking free from my lips. The pink of her cheeks spread across her face. I know I embarrassed her, but fuck, I needed to know if I stood a chance.

“Yes, I swear. What do you think I am? I’m not a child, City.” She glared at me as she raised the drink to her lips and wrapped them around the rim. Fuck I wanted those lips wrapped around my shaft, taking me deep and sucking me off.

“Never said you were, babe. Do you drink besides tonight?” I asked, now smiling because I knew she was upset. I liked the fire I saw in her eyes when I pointed out her good girl qualities – she obviously didn’t like being labeled.

“Sometimes. I’m just responsible. I don’t drink and drive. My dad used to be a cop and it was drilled into my head at an early age.” The words she spoke hit me like a ton of bricks. Drunk driving was the one thing in the world that caused my blood to boil.

Good girl teacher with a cop father? Just my luck. “Nothin’ wrong with that. Virgin daiquiris aren’t always your thing, then?”

“Why? Do I have to be a drinker? I mean does it make me less of an adult?”

“No, Suzy. Just trying to get a feel for who you are – what you are.”

My Review

4 Stars

City is a HOT alpha biker with tattoos and piercings, Oh My! Suzy is a good girl, by the book and checklist galore kind of school teacher. Opposites attract, right? Definitely!

This book had really good characters, the sex was hot and the story line was awesome. I did feel there was a little background info missing for Suzy that I would have liked to understand a bit better. I know the series is about the Men of Inked but still feel a little family dynamics for Suzy's family would have been great. I also felt the one fantasy of Suzy's kind of left me hanging as you didn't really get to read about it, the author skipped right over it and not sure why.

This was my first Chelle Bliss book and I enjoyed it so it won't be my last for sure. I'm looking forward to reading book 2 in the series.
